The pharmacological effects of azelaic acid can be summarized into the following five aspects:
1. Directly inhibit and kill bacteria on the skin surface and hair follicles, and eliminate pathogens;

4. Reduce the synthesis of filamentous keratin and prevent hair follicle hyperkeratosis;
5. Destroy cell mitochondrial respiration, inhibit cell synthesis, and thereby inhibit cell proliferation.
This product is a topical antibacterial agent that inhibits and kills various aerobic and anaerobic bacteria on the skin. Topical use of 20% azalea acid ointment can significantly reduce skin bacteria and intrafollicular Propionibacterium-like bacteria. growth and decrease the free fatty acid content of skin surface lipids.
